This is Zunaira, a Ph.D. scholar in nanobiotechnology who enjoys being part of a successful and productive team at Nano-Biotech Group, National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), Pakistan. I am working at the interface of nanomaterials and biology and am skilled in application-specific biocompatible nanomaterials’ fabrication and characterization. I am highly interested in the area of nanobiotechnological research, mainly focusing on biomedical applications like drug delivery, nanomedicine, nanodetoxification, and nano-antidote therapy. I have been working on developing functionalized nanomaterials and nanosponges as antidotal nanomedicine capable of sequestering or degrading offending compounds, mainly for the treatment of drug overdose and poisoning.

Analytical and physicochemical analysis techniques, including operating the Malvern Zeta Sizer Nano for dynamic, electrophoretic, and static light scattering analyses, the HPLC System, and NMs' characterization technologies, including FTIR, UV Vis, and DLS.
