Work Description
Theoretical and computational studies on electronic and optical properties of quantum materials.
Note: Duties are subject to change within the scope of the employee’s position.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in electrochemistry, materials science, physical chemistry, or related field
- Strong interest in computational and theoretical materials research
- Ability to conduct proactive and independent research
Employment Details
- Starting Date: June 1, 2026
- Term: One year (renewable annually, maximum 5 years)
- Trial Period: 2 months
- Working Hours: 7 hours 45 minutes per day, 5 days a week (Discretionary system deemed 8 hours 15 minutes)
- Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, New Year holidays, annual paid leave
Salary & Benefits
Salary according to NIMS regulations, experience-based, approximately 3,800,000–5,000,000 JPY gross per year. Commuting allowance included. National insurance coverage provided.
