Due to heterogeneous samples, sample variability, and limited training data, quantitative Cryo-EM analysis of LNPs remains challenging. The project aims to develop and validate automated AI\/ML pipelines for improved characterization of lipid nanoparticles.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will optimize data collection parameters, develop and implement AI\/ML workflows, and validate results using physicochemical characterization techniques. The project is conducted in close collaboration with lipid nanoparticle researchers in the Barriga Lab and with the Cryo-EM facility at SciLifeLab.<\/p>\n<h3>Research Environment<\/h3>\n<p>The Barriga Lab is a multidisciplinary research group combining biology, chemistry, and physics to investigate structure-function relationships in lipid systems for drug delivery, particularly lipid nanoparticles.
