Particular emphasis will be placed on PFAS removal from water and catalytic degradation using novel MOF materials.<\/p>\n<p>The research group has extensive expertise in porous materials including MOFs, porous oxides, and zeolites for energy and environmental technologies.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Synthesize and characterize porous materials including MOFs.<\/li>\n<li>Perform characterization using X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), electron microscopy, and gas adsorption techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate adsorption performance for PFAS removal and greenhouse gas capture.<\/li>\n<li>Design and optimize catalytic degradation processes for PFAS using MOFs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary national and international research teams.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in doctoral courses, publish scientific articles, and contribute to teaching (maximum 20%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in synthesis and characterization of porous framework materials, particularly MOFs.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of diffraction techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with applications of framework porous materials.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with sorption experiments for pollutant removal from water.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of photocatalysis.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in synthetic and organic chemistry.<\/li>\n<li>Strong scientific writing, planning, communication, and independent research skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Employment Details<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time doctoral employment (100%).<\/li>\n<li>Four-year PhD programme.<\/li>\n<li>Temporary employment according to the Swedish Higher
