About the Position

The Department of Materials Engineering, Faculty of Materials Engineering and Physics at Cracow University of Technology (CUT) has announced a competition for the position of Research and Teaching Assistant. This role combines teaching responsibilities with cutting-edge nanotechnology and biomaterials research, making it ideal for young researchers aiming to advance their careers in academia and applied science.

What You’ll Do

As a Research and Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting lectures, labs, and consultations with students.

  • Contributing to interdisciplinary nanotechnology and biomaterials research projects.

  • Preparing scientific publications in reputed journals.

  • Participating in departmental organizational tasks and collaborative projects.

Who Succeeds Here

This role is best suited for candidates who:

  • Hold a Master’s in Nanotechnology or Materials Engineering.

  • Have proven research skills in biomaterials design, nanostructure characterization, and interdisciplinary methods.

  • Demonstrate a strong publication record.

  • Have completed (or plan to complete) a Pedagogical Training Course for academic teaching.

  • Possess excellent communication skills in both Polish and English (B2 level).
