About the Role

The Kolen’ko Research Group at INL is a world-class research team focusing on unconventional nanomaterials for solving pressing energy and environmental challenges. Under the GreenAuto Agenda (PRR framework), this role will contribute to the development of advanced functional coatings for photovoltaic and protective applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise functional coatings and inks for photovoltaic applications (e.g., printed solar cells).

  • Design and formulate coatings with self-healing, anti-corrosion, or protective properties.

  • Apply coating techniques such as spin coating, spray coating, and dip coating.

  • Characterise coatings for mechanical, chemical, optical, and electrical properties.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor materials for specific applications.


Mandatory Qualifications

Education

  • MSc in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Proven experience in formulating functional coatings and inks for advanced applications.

  • Knowledge of self-healing materials and smart coatings.

  • Proficiency in coating techniques such as spin coating, screen printing, spray coating, and dip coating.

  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on material characterisation experience.
