🧬 About the Role

Micron’s Boise team is looking for a Semiconductor Process Engineer with a focus on electrical device characterization — a crucial component in the development of high-performance memory systems.

You’ll lead efforts to characterize CMOS-based and novel nanodevices for DRAM, NAND, and storage-class memory. From probing wafers with cutting-edge tools to analyzing electrical data with Python, you’ll work across global teams to validate and scale the next generation of memory.


🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deploy new electrical test methods for memory and logic devices

  • Automate data collection using Python, C/C++, and Unix/Linux environments

  • Operate and maintain advanced instrumentation (SMUs, LCR meters, waveform generators)

  • Analyze test results and define best-known methods for nanodevice evaluation

  • Collaborate with teams across process integration, product engineering, and quality

  • Lead test campaigns, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to process improvement
