Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage innovation, is seeking a Senior / Principal Device Engineer to join its Front End Central Process Integration Engineering (cPIE) team in Taichung City, Taiwan.

This role is central to nanotechnology-enabled semiconductor device development, focusing on DRAM with potential expansion into NAND flash memory. You will work at the intersection of device physics, process integration, and nanoscale fabrication, collaborating across Micron’s global network to push the limits of device performance, yield, and quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing process steps at the nanometer scale to enhance device performance.

  • Reducing device variability through advanced statistical process control (SPC) and design-of-experiments (DOE) methodologies.

  • Applying advanced CMOS device physics knowledge, including FinFET and GAA architectures, to meet scaling challenges.

  • Leveraging expertise in wafer fabrication processes, characterization methods, and reliability analysis.

Candidates should have:

  • A Master’s or PhD in Physics or Engineering.

  • At least 5 years in wafer fab process engineering, device R&D, or process integration.

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP and Spotfire.

  • Strong collaboration skills, and preferably, working-level Mandarin or Japanese.
