What the conference aims to achieve
NanoThailand 2025 aims to stimulate Thailand’s and the region’s nanotechnology community by creating an interdisciplinary platform for exchanging scientific advances, demonstrating industrial applications, and forming multi-sector partnerships. The program mixes plenaries, invited talks, oral and poster sessions, special sessions and an exhibition to showcase commercial and academic innovations.
Plenary speakers & highlight talks
The conference features international plenary speakers who span materials science, catalysis and nanochemistry — for example:
-
Prof. Michiya Matsusaki (Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University) — Nanostructured extracellular matrices for biomedical and food applications.
-
Prof. Hiromi Yamashita (Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University) — Design of nanostructured catalysts for sustainable energy and environmental uses.
-
Prof. Duncan Graham (University of Strathclyde, UK) — New capabilities for improved health through nanochemistry.
These plenaries set the tone for sessions linking fundamental nanoscience with applied outcomes in healthcare, energy and environmental technologies.
Scientific tracks & special sessions
NanoThailand’s program spans core and cross-cutting topics. Selected sessions include:
-
Green catalysis for sustainable consumption and production.
-
Nanomaterials, nanocoatings and nanotechnology for electronic/optoelectronic devices and sensors.
-
Smart nanomaterials and nanocomposites.
-
Nanotechnology in healthcare: diagnostics, therapeutics and beyond.
-
Nanoencapsulation for food, cosmetics and agriculture.
-
