About the Position
The Piteira Research Group at INL is advancing nanoelectronics applications in semiconductor, biomedical, and agrifood sectors. This role contributes to the Smartgnostics Agenda, focusing on creating lab-on-a-chip devices for bacteria and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection.
You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team driving innovation at the interface of microfluidics, biosensing, and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities

Mandatory Qualifications

Master’s degree in:

Mechanical Engineering

Physical Engineering

Biological Engineering (or related)

Expertise in microfluidic device development

Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks)

Hands-on experience in micromachining techniques (CNC milling, laser cutting)
