Role Summary

The new Assistant Professor will join the Human Centric Design Group / Human Interface Field within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. This role emphasizes biomedical engineering, nanotechnology-enabled systems, and perceptual information technologies.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, and measurement engineering.

  • Collaborate with faculty members on human-centric design and applied nanoscience projects.

  • Teach undergraduate courses, experiments, and exercises in mechanical engineering.

  • Supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research projects.

  • Contribute to administrative duties within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Graduate Major in Human Health Care and Medicine.
