Applications are now open for the prestigious Inter-institutional Master’s Program “Nanotechnology for Energy Applications”, jointly offered by the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), the University of Crete, and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH).

This program combines world-class academic teaching with pioneering research, offering students the chance to specialize in nanomaterials and semiconductor technologies for applications in energy production, storage, and saving.

About the Program

Nanotechnology plays a key role in shaping the future of renewable energy and sustainable technologies. This master’s program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in:

  • Nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage

  • Semiconductor device fabrication and applications

  • Photovoltaics and optoelectronic devices

  • Hydrogen production and fuel cells

  • Energy-saving nanotechnologies
