The Online Workshop on Computational Materials Science (CMS25), held on 13–14 December 2025, focuses on cutting-edge advances in theoretical and computational materials science, with emphasis on light–matter interactions, molecular modeling, and nanomaterials simulation. Co-organized by the Theoretical and Physical Chemistry Institute (NHRF) and the Hellenic Society for the Science and Technology of Condensed Matter (HSSTCM), this free online event brings together experts and young researchers for an engaging two-day program.

About the Workshop

The Online Workshop on Computational Materials Science (CMS25) is a specialized two-day program designed to explore the latest theoretical and simulation approaches in the study of materials and light–matter interactions.

Organized jointly by the Theoretical and Physical Chemistry Institute (TPCI) of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) and the Hellenic Society for the Science and Technology of Condensed Matter (HSSTCM), the event aims to strengthen computational research collaboration and knowledge sharing among scientists working in nanoscience, materials physics, and theoretical chemistry.

Participants will engage with renowned international speakers, learn emerging computational techniques, and gain hands-on insights into topics ranging from molecular dynamics to quantum correlations near metamaterials.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all participants.
