The Muñoz Research Group at INL pioneers energy storage research, bridging fundamental science with application-driven projects. This postdoctoral role is embedded in the New Generation Storage Agenda, targeting sodium- and lithium-based electrode materials for sustainable energy systems.

What You’ll Do

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

  • Conduct R&D activities on high-voltage cathode materials for Li-ion & Na-ion batteries.

  • Perform structural, electrochemical, and surface characterizations of battery materials.

  • Collaborate with academic and industry partners in joint nanotechnology projects.

  • Report regularly to supervisors and project leaders.

  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present results at international conferences.

  • Contribute to dissemination activities within the PRR framework.
