🧬 About the Role

In this role, you’ll be a critical contributor to Micron’s Mask Technology Center (MTC), enhancing process control for nanofabrication. You’ll monitor and troubleshoot nanoscale measurement workflows including CD, overlay, phase, and blank inspection, ensuring the accuracy of data that powers high-performance memory.

You’ll develop new workflows, investigate out-of-spec conditions, and use tools like SEM, optical microscopy, and SPC to detect and correct process deviations. With hands-on exposure to DOE design, automated inspection, and photolithographic patterning, this role sits at the core of Micron’s technology roadmap.

  • Manage nanoscale metrology tools and workflows

  • Troubleshoot data accuracy issues and drive root-cause solutions

  • Create and refine mask recipes and inspection protocols

  • Use scripting (Python/Matlab) to automate analysis and improve workflows

  • Support R&D with experimental test structures and inspection tooling
