Conference scope & objectives

ICRANN-2025 aims to bring together leading researchers, academicians, industry experts and policymakers worldwide to present recent discoveries, discuss emerging trends, and foster industry–academia partnerships. The meeting balances fundamental science and practical applications, encourages sustainable innovation, and provides a platform for young researchers to present and network.

Scientific themes (selected)

The brochure lists a broad set of topics that reflect the conference’s interdisciplinary remit, including:

  • Smart nanomaterials; nanobiotechnology, biosensors and bio-nano systems; nanomedicine, drug delivery and theranostics.

  • Nanoelectronics, spintronics and quantum technologies; quantum nanotechnology and neuromorphic computing; VLSI circuits and RF circuit design/testing. Jawaharlal Nehru University

  • Computational modelling and AI in nano-bio science; computational nanoscience and modelling.

  • Nanotechnology for energy harvesting/storage; nanomaterials for environmental remediation and sustainability.

  • MEMS/NEMS and nano-enabled smart devices; nanofabrication and advanced characterization/in-situ analysis.

Speakers, committees & organisers

ICRANN-2025 lists a diverse international advisory and organising team. Sample invited/expected speakers and committee members include Prof. Sanjay Mishra (University of Memphis), Dr. Daniel E. Bürgler (Forschungszentrum Jülich), Prof. Guy Vandenbosch (KU Leuven) and many others from universities and institutes in Europe, North America and Asia. The conference is chaired and coordinated by SCNS faculty and organisers at JNU, with an extended organising secretariat and international collaborators.

Publications & awards

Accepted and peer-reviewed papers will appear in the ICRANN-2025 conference proceedings (ISBN) and are eligible for publication in partner journals listed in the brochure (for example: ChemistrySelect and Chemistry — An Asian Journal as indicated). The conference will present multiple awards including an Award of Excellence in Nanoscience and Nanoelectronics, Outstanding Women Researcher Award, Innovation Award, Young Researcher Award, and Best Oral/Poster Awards.

Who should attend

ICRANN-2025 is suitable for academic researchers (faculty, postdocs, PhD students), R&D engineers, industry technologists, instrument vendors, startup founders, regulators and policymakers with interests in nanomaterials, nano-bio interfaces, nanodevices, energy applications and nanosafety. The programme explicitly encourages participation by early-career researchers and women in science.

How to submit & contact

Practical note (finance & logistics)

The brochure specifies that registration payments must be made via electronic transfer (e-transfer/RTGS/NEFT) to the JNU conference bank account; bank account number, IFSC and beneficiary details are provided in the PDF. International attendees should budget separately for travel and accommodation; the conference fee does not cover those costs.
